Susan founded Riverside in 2004 after many years working in local care homes and in the community. It was her vision to build a company that provides high quality, person-centred care services for people in their own homes. Susan oversees the running of the company and has a hands-on role within the business.
Sharon Bell
Care Manager
Sharon has worked for Riverside since 2005, first as a Community Care Worker, now as the Care Manager. Sharon is involved in all aspects of the day to day running of the company. Sharon has achieved her Level 7 in Strategic Management and Leadership.
Charlotte Keen
Recruitment & Marketing Manager
Charlotte has been an integral part of Riverside since 2014, with a passion for finding the best talent and promoting our services, Charlotte plays a vital role in shaping our team and elevating our visibility within the sector.
Beyond her recruitment and marketing expertise, Charlotte develops our employee support schemes & engaging newsletters to our clients.
As part of her commitment to professional development, Charlotte has earned a level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership. This qualification underscores her dedication to continuous learning and growth.
Outside of her professional role, Charlotte is a devoted mother to 2 wonderful children, whom she loves spending time with. Charlotte also finds joy and relaxation in horse riding, swimming, and running. Her love of horses extends beyond personal enjoyment as she holds a UKCC Level 2 riding coach certification and teaches adults and children the skill she loves in her spare time.
Katie Draper
Merchandise and Admin Assistant
Katie is our Care Merchandise and Admin Assistant and has been with Riverside since 2020. Kate began her journey with Riverside as a Support worker and now manages all things that are customized & creative within the business. Specializing in creating all personalized merchandise, gifts & welcome boxes. Kate also splits her time and supports the office team with administration tasks.
Kate has 2 children whom she loves to spend time with, going on days out and planning fun activities. Kate is also a qualified hairdresser, whose creative and caring nature spills over to Riverside as she takes time to visit clients to give haircuts when needed.
Samantha Butcher
Team Leader
Sam joined our team here at Riverside in September 2022 as our Team Leader.
With over 12 years of experience in both home care services and care homes, Sam brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and qualifications to Riverside.
Sam holds an NVQ level 3 in Health and Social care, ensuring that she is well-equipped to provide the highest level of care to our service users.
In addition to her professional achievements, Sam is also a proud parent of two wonderful children. When she’s not dedicated to her work and family, Sam loves to embark on exciting trips and enjoy quality time with her loved ones. They particularly enjoy visiting Devon whenever the opportunity arises.
